On Australia Day, 26 January 1966, the three Beaumont children took a five-minute bus journey from their home to Glenelg beach. Jane Natare Beaumont (then aged 9), Arnna Kathleen Beaumont (then aged 7) and Grant Ellis Beaumont (then aged 4) left their home in Harding Street, Somerton Park and failed to return home.

Police investigating the case found several witnesses who had seen the children near the beach in the company of a tall blond and thin-faced man with a sun-tanned complexion of thin to athletic build in his mid-30s. Confirmed sightings of the three children were at Colley Reserve, Glenelg and Wenzels Cake shop in Mosley Street, Glenelg.

The children have not been seen or heard of since this time despite extensive and ongoing investigations into their disappearance. Parents Nancy and Grant Beaumont remain in contact with police. Police suspect the children have been abducted and murdered and there is a $1,000,000 reward for information on this case.

Anita Schuch was last seen on 14 December 1965. Anita, aged 68 at the time, was due to be admitted to Royal North Shore Hospital the following day and had expressed concern over this appointment. Anita suffered memory loss at the time. It is possible that Anita wandered into bushland though she has not been sighted or heard from since going missing.

On 4 November 1964, Gilbert Arthur Midson left his home at New Town, Tasmania and travelled to the Metropolitan Transport Trust depot in Hobart where he was employed as a bus driver.

Gilbert completed his work shift but did not return home. There has been no sign or trace of Gilbert since 4 November 1964.

Gilbert's disappearance is totally out of character.

Johannes Schiff was last seen leaving his family home on Alfred St, Neutral Bay, North Sydney. He left all his possessions behind. Johannes suffered medical issues at the time.

John Fredrick Bennett was last seen on 6 April 1964 in Sydney whilst employed by the Navy. 

The attached photograph was taken in 1958. 

There are concerns for his safety and welfare.
