Marinus Hengstmengel was last seen in 1960 when he went missing from his family home in Lavington, NSW, Australia.
Marinus (also known as Rinus), born in Rotterdam, Netherlands, in 1937, moved to Australia in 1954 with his entire immediate family. He remained a Dutch citizen even after relocating. In 1960, at the age of 21, Marinus left his family home in Lavington, NSW, and has not been seen since.
In 1970, Marinus’ family made inquiries about Marinus’ whereabouts as they hadn't heard from him since he left home ten years prior. Marinus is believed to have been working in Perth, Western Australia, in 1968 – 1969. Unfortunately, Marinus' family was unable to obtain any further information about Marinus' whereabouts.
Through the Australian Federal Police and their DNA program to help identify unknown and missing persons, Marinus' family decided to make a report at the local police station before they could get involved. On January 14, 2022, Marinus' family attended Albury Police Station to file the missing person report.

Barry Calvert was last seen at the Paterson Army Barracks on St John Street, Launceston on 17 April 1963. Barry was a soldier at the time of his disappearance.
He was married with two young children. Information suggested that Barry may have travelled to the mainland shortly after his disappearance.

James Henney's car was found at The Gap, Old South Head Road, NSW on 14 March 1963 with a half empty bottle of whiskey inside and the keys in the ignition. Reports indicate that James was having multiple issues in his personal life prior to going missing and may have suffered depression.
James has not been seen or heard from since.
