Walter Clasper was 60 years old at the time of his disappearance. Around 2pm on 30 May 1981, Walter left his house, without disclosing information about where he was going. This was the last time Walter was seen. He was last seen travelling in a 1970 green Renault.

Janice Mary Pollett was 39 years of age at the time of her disappearance. Janice went missing from her home in Cartwright on the 26th of May 1981. Her husband was later charged and convicted of her murder. Despite wide media coverage, Janice has not been located.

Leslie David Toshack was last seen in Paddington. He and Joanne Kim Lacey left a note to say they were going to hitch hike to Northern NSW or Queensland for a few days but have not been seen since going missing in 1981.

Joanne Kim Lacey was reported as missing at Paddington Police Station. She had left a note that she was intending to travel north hitchhiking. She was known to be with Leslie David Toshak who is also missing at the time when they were last seen.

Herbert Kenny has not been seen since 13 January 1981. He is believed to have been in the district around Winton Queensland. Herbert had previously travelled from St Kilda Victoria to pursue his interest in gemstone collection and art.
Herbert was also known to use the name Herbert Delos and may have sought out art galleries and known gemstone fossicking areas to attend.
At some point after 1981 Herbert is believed to have travelled to the Northern Territory where he lived a reclusive itinerant lifestyle.
Herbert has not been in contact with his family since leaving St Kilda and there are serious concerns for his welfare.
