Neil Kobelt was residing at the Angel Hostel located in Boulder in February 1982. Between 5 - 8 February, 1982 Neil was admitted to Kalgoorlie Hospital. He was discharged on 8 February. 

In March 1982 Neil’s family received a letter from Angel Hostel advising that Neil’s possessions and his vehicle had been left at the Hostel. 

Police have concerns for Neil’s welfare as there has been no trace of any contact with him since his discharge from Kalgoorlie Hospital in 1982. His family have not heard from him and are seeking answers as to his whereabouts.

Marion Nabarula Nelson, aged 15, was last sighted in Yuendumu Community on Sunday 10 January 1982. Marion was seen getting into a vehicle with five males known to her. The vehicle Marion and the males were traveling in ran out of fuel approximately 50 kilometres south west of Yuendumu.

While they waited for help Marion ran away from the group, reportedly running in a northerly direction into remote bushland.   

An initial search by family and the community failed to locate Marion.  Marion was reported missing to Yuendumu Police on Tuesday 12 January 1982. Together with police and the community a comprehensive search was conducted, however was unsuccessful in locating Marion.

Reported sightings of Marion in neighbouring towns and communities were investigated. Since Marion’s disappearance, neither her family nor police have seen or communicated with her.

Lynette Joy Dawson, a 33-year-old mother-of-two, was last seen by her husband on 9 January 1982.

While at home with her husband on the evening of Friday 8 January 1982, Lynette phoned her mother. After chatting for a while, mother and daughter agreed to meet for lunch at Northbridge Baths the following day (9 January 1982).

The following morning Lynette's husband drove her to a Mona Vale bus stop. She indicated her intentions of going shopping in Chatswood and later meeting up with family, however she has not been seen since.

Gordon Cannon was 21 years of age at the time of his disappearance. Around 3am on 1 January 1982, Gordon left a New Year's Party at Dee Why. Some people have remembered Gordon getting into an argument with a person at the party before he left. Gordon’s drivers licence was located in Canberra later that day.

In January 1982 Stephen Paul Garrison left his flat in Caulfield North, Victoria. Stephen had given the impression that he would only be out for a short time but he hasn't been seen or heard from since.

Brian Alexander was 42 years of age at the time of his disappearance on 21 December 1981. Brian was last seen leaving the Tradesman’s Arms Hotel in Darlinghurst. There is some indication that Brian may have come to harm.
