Michaela Godau

Michaela Godau was born in Germany in April 1967. She migrated to Australia in November 1981 with her mother, step-father and brother. They lived at Walpole Street, Davoren Park, together until her mother returned to work in Germany in July 1982. Michaela, her step-father and brother remained in Adelaide.

Michaela was last seen going to bed at about 10pm on Sunday, 19 December 1982 at the family home in Elizabeth Field. She was gone the following morning, and at 5.35pm her step-father reported her missing. Cash, Michaela's passport, and some of her personal items were also missing.

She was aged 15 at the time of her disappearance. She has not been seen since.

Police suspect she has been murdered.

Deborah Dorn

Deborah Dorn was last seen during an outing from Stockton Hospital, where she resided under care. Her group were enjoying a supervised picnic at The Pines Forest Picnic Ground in Watagan State Forest on 13 November, 1982 and Deborah was found to be missing during final roll-call. A large-scale search was unable to locate her. Deborah required ongoing care and has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old child.

There are grave concerns for her welfare.

Victor Zamiatin was 31 years of age at the time of his disappearance. On 10 November 1982, Victor had been sick with the flu. After an argument with a family member, he left his residence in Miranda and did not return. Victor did not take any personal items with him.

Anthony (Tony) Jones disappeared in November 1982. Tony, from Perth, Western Australia was on a six month backpacking holiday around Australia. At the time of his disappearance Tony, then aged 20, was at the end of his holiday in North Queensland. In the three weeks leading up to his disappearance, Tony had met up with his brother Tim in both Mackay and Airlie Beach.

On 3 November 1982. Tony rang his mother and girlfriend back in Perth. They advised him that his brother Tim had travelled onto Mt Isa. Tony indicated that he would again meet up with Tim and also travel to Mt Isa by hitchhiking. This was the last known contact that anyone had with him and it is suspected by police that he has been murdered.

Carol Goodlich was last seen around 25 September 1982 in Tweed Heads, NSW. She was possibly travelling to Sydney seeking work and may have been in the company of a woman, Christine. Carol speaks with a discernible Scottish accent. She has not made contact with any family or friends since this time, and there are grave concerns for her welfare.

John Gilchrist Howard

John Gilchrist Howard was last seen on 26 July 1982 leaving his property at Thumb Creek, NSW in his vehicle. He did not attend work as planned, and his vehicle was later located along a track in the area with his possessions and tools still in the vehicle. John was previously known by the surname of Hellmrich. He has not made contact with family or friends since this time.
