Anthony (Tony) Johnstone was last seen running into bush land near the Warrayu Reserve, Wyndham. At the time it is believed that he was suffering from hallucinations caused by alcohol withdrawal symptoms. He is known to become frightened if approached.

Talei Pless left her residence in Bondi on Friday 11 October 1996 and has not returned since. She was diagnosed a few years early with Schizophrenia and is under medication for that condition. Fears are held for Talei due to the extended period of absence and the fact that she is without money and medication. 

Anyone with information which may assist in locating the whereabouts of Talei are urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Paul Winston Byrne was 34-years-old when he went missing. He was last seen leaving the Rossarden Club in the Fingal Valley of Northern Tasmania at 2am on 20 September 1996.

He has not been seen or heard from since this time.

There is no apparent reason for his disappearance and police suspect Paul may have met with foul play. 

There is a $500,000 reward for information leading to the location of Paul.

Michael Lorenz-Schrader was last seen in August/September 1996 at Gordonvale Queensland by his father.

Michael was commonly known as ‘Adrian’ by close friends and family.

He was believed to be travelling to the Northern Territory via western Queensland and has not been seen since.

Marcia Ann Ryan left her home in Victoria in a tan Mitsubishi Sigma sedan Registration DUP002, travelling to Queensland to visit her parents. She had a black and white Heeler/Border-Collie Cross with her at the time.

The car was found abandoned on the Princes Highway near Moe and her wallet was found along the Princes Highway, Darnum approximately 23km away.

Marcia was last seen on 19 August 1996 in a distressed state by a truck driver but declined a lift and kept walking along the highway.

On the morning of 8 August 1996, Wendy told her husband she was going to attend the Magistrates Court to pay a fine and then go to the taxation department. 

Her husband stated he left their home address of Tristania Way, Mt Gravatt East at approximately 11am to go for a walk and on his return at 11:30am she had left. At the time of her disappearance she was believed to be driving a Silver 1993 Toyota Camry (020 BXC). This vehicle was located by a family friend on Saturday 24 August 1996 parked at a City Bus Park and Ride adjacent to Bus Stop No. 34 on Logan Road, Holland Park. 

The vehicle was covered in dust, and appeared to have been there for some time. There are no records of Wendy attending the taxation office on the day of her disappearance.

Anyone with information about the disappearance and suspected murder of Wendy Margaret Darvill is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
