Elisha Carrington, also known as Elly, and in childhood known as Bert. Elisha is transgender and was formally known as Alan Ticehurst. Elisha was last seen by her family in August 1997 in the Laidley area possibly heading to Darwin. Elisha was also known to frequent the Brisbane and Sunshine coast areas.
Elisha would frequently go for lengthy periods of time without contacting family however would always attend important family events and has failed to do so.

She has not been in contact with family or friends since that time. She is known to frequent RSL and Bowls clubs and stays in caravan parks.

On 21 July 1997, Wayne Joseph Rowlings was one of three crew members onboard the fishing vessel ‘Eastern Star’ in waters at Ahrberg Bay on the west coast of Tasmania.
The vessel sank due to a freak wave, and Wayne and the other two crew members Clinton Andrew Patterson and Gregory David John Halliday were lost at sea.
At time of his disappearance, Wayne was aged 38 years.
