Lynette Ann Melbin was last seen on Monday 5 June 1972 by her mother at Woolworths Penrith Plaza.
Lynette attended Woolworths where her mother worked and informed her that she was going to her boyfriend’s house in Penrith. Lynette never arrived at her boyfriend’s house and has not been seen since. The clothing Lynette had worn when seen by her mother was found at her home and other clothing taken.

Josephine Grech has been reported to NSW Police as an historical matter. Josephine Grech (nee Bartolo) was born in Malta in 1942 to parents Francis Bartolo and Emmanuela Bartolo. She immigrated to Australia with her then partner and had several children. In 1972 Josephine left the family home and has ceased contact with family and friends. She was known to have contacts in both Victoria and NSW.

Kevin Gore, 32, was last seen in the Sydney suburb of Paddington on 3 May 1972 where he was meeting with some associates. Kevin was in the process of trying to locate Robert Donnelly, also missing, to whom he had lent his vehicle and who had apparently disappeared. It is considered likely that both Kevin and Robert met with foul play. When last seen, Robert was wearing grey long trousers, a grey long-sleeve shirt, a red tie, red casual shoes, gold watch and sunglasses.

Robert Donnelly, 27, was last seen in Rose Bay on 1 May 1972 when he visited the home of his associate Kevin Gore to borrow his car. Robert was never seen again and Kevin subsequently disappeared whilst attempting to locate him. The car was eventually located in a burnt out condition. It is considered likely that both Kevin and Robert met with foul play. Robert was noted to have a 2 inch scar on the back of his head.

Patricia Mary Dawson, then aged 33 years, was reported as a missing person on 14 April 1972.
Her husband, Peter Dawson, reported that he had last seen her at 11.15pm on Tuesday 11 April 1972, when he drove from their Ingle Farm house to Adelaide to buy a newspaper. He left her at home with their two children, aged four and six. He returned home at 12.30am on 12 April 1972, and soon after found her missing but the children still in bed asleep. He told police he discovered about $390 in cash gone from Patricia's bedroom wardrobe as well as some of her clothing.
Despite checks with relatives and friends there has been no contact from, or sightings of Patricia since the night of her disappearance. She is presumed murdered.

Alvin Leslie Fraser was last seen boarding a coach in Hamilton, Newcastle around Easter time in 1972. He had told his family that he intended to travel to Brisbane for work and would return once settled to assist in their relocation. Alvin has not been seen since this time and has not made contact with his family or friends.
