Gary Handley, 20 years old, was last seen in the Coogee area in February 1976. Gary was heading down to Coogee beach, however never returned home. Gary was around 175cm tall, had light brown hair and blue eyes. Gary was wearing jeans, a t-shirt and swimmers. Gary’s right eye is turned in slightly.

On Sunday, 1 February 1976, Mary Jennings was seen at the T Gardens in Kalgoorlie by a relative.

She was seen to get into a small green sedan displaying a registration number similar to “XKO” or “KXO”. The driver was described as a young, fair skinned male, who was short with a slim build and brown hair.

This was the last known sighting of Mary and she was later reported as a missing person.

Eloise Ann Worledge was eight years old when she went missing from the bedroom of her Beaumaris family home during the night of 12 January 1976.

She was the eldest daughter of Lindsey and Patsy Worledge, and sister to then six-year-old Anna and four-year-old Blake. 

She went to Beaumaris Primary School and was due to start grade three.

On the night of 12 January, Eloise went to bed in her Scott Street home like any other night, but when the family woke the next morning, she was missing. She has never been seen or heard from since.

Despite a significant investigation over the past five decades, Eloise has not been located.

A $1,000,000 reward for information was announced on 13 January 2026 for information leading to the apprehension and subsequent conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Eloise Ann Worledge or the recovery of her remains.

The investigation by the Missing Persons Squad into her disappearance remains open.

Linda Humphries was last seen in Griffith, NSW on the morning of 31 October 1975 when she drove her husband to work. She did not meet him for lunch as arranged and has not been seen since. Her vehicle, a yellow Datsun 1200 coupe, was located at Fitzroy Falls on 8 November 1975.

During December 1975, Glenyce McGowan set off from Perth to travel to Tom Price to visit a friend. She obtained a lift from a family friend stopping at various locations.

At that time Cyclone Joan hit the North West of Western Australia causing a number of roads to be blocked. Having left Carnarvon the pair headed north, arriving at the Nanutarra Roadhouse at about 5pm on 9 December 1975, where they stayed the night.

On the morning of Wednesday, 10 December 1975, her friend left to return to Perth, but Glenyce decided to attempt to continue on to Tom Price.

That same afternoon Glenyce arranged with a family she had met for a lift the following morning. This was the last known sighting of her. At the time Glenyce was wearing a long blue skirt, a pair of strap-on sandals and an Indian style, cream coloured, button-up top.

Wendy Dalla was last seen on 25 September 1975 when she left her family home in Cook to walk to the local shops a short distance away. Wendy was expected back a short time later however has not been heard from or seen since. Wendy is married with three children.
