Leanne Goodall was 20 years of age at the time of her disappearance. Around 1pm on the 30th of December 1978, Leanne was dropped off at Muswellbrook Train Station by her brother. Leanne was planning to attend Newcastle Technical College and was excited by this prospect. Leanne never arrived at her intended destination and has not been seen since.

Vasiley is believed to be senile and easily confused.

Darlene Avis Geertsema, who may also go by the surnames Shepherd and Styles, was last seen leaving her family home at Best Street, Devonport on 23 October 1978.
At the time, Darlene was 30 years of age and the owner of a 1977 red Holden Sunbird vehicle.
Darlene’s vehicle was located parked, locked and abandoned on grassland on Victoria Parade near the Devonport Oval on the morning of Wednesday 25 October 1978.
Darlene’s disappearance has been the subject of a number of investigations and reviews, however she has not been seen or heard from since 23 October 1978 and she remains a missing person.
Police strongly suspect that Darlene met with foul play the night she disappeared.
