Sally Greenham was due at a meeting at 1.00 pm on Friday 21 August 1987, but did not show up. Repeated calls to Sally’s home that afternoon went unanswered. 

Despite extensive inquiries, no positive sightings of Sally have been made.

On 17 August 1987 William Clarence Horne was last seen leaving his home in Wentworthville, NSW to go shopping in Parramatta. William has not been seen or made contact with family or friends since and there are grave concerns held for his welfare.

The missing person Charles Cycyn arrived in Cairns Queensland from America on 14 May 1987.  He travelled from Cairns to Darwin arriving in early June 1987.

Charles attended Yamelba Mine located in Kakadu for the purpose of prospecting for gold. On 15 July 1987 Charles became separated from his companions while prospecting. A major search and rescue operation was undertaken without success.

Charles was described as wearing a green shirt, shorts, brown leather boots and green peaked cap. He also had around his neck a small black vinyl bag (10cm x 6cm) that contained traveller’s cheques American Express, cash, his passport and some keys. He was also in possession of plastic water container, a metal detector with earphones and a small folding shovel.

Charles has not been seen or heard of since going missing and it has been confirmed he has not exited Australia.

Lawrence Phillips was last seen at 7 am on 11 June 1987 at his home in Sandy Creek (near Kilcoy) Queensland, and last heard from at 10 am on 11 June 1987 when he last spoke to family. Lawrence was wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt and is described as 188 cm tall, solid build, 90 kgs, light brown hair, blue eyes, with a beard. Lawrence was driving a green Toyota Corolla sedan Queensland registration ODF387. The vehicle was located at 4.50 pm the same day at Somerset View Lookout, Mount Kilcoy Road, Mount Kilcoy. An extensive police and S.E.S. search was conducted for however Lawrence was not located.

Ballarat resident Rodney Norman Galvin left his home in 1987 and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. 

Police are appealing for information from the public regarding the disappearance of Rodney who went missing on the evening of 6th of April 1987. 

On the night Rodney disappeared he left home about 6:00 pm and told his mother he would see her later. He left his belongings at home.

Graham Harold Lines, a recently separated father of one, travelled alone to Great Keppel Island, Queensland for a holiday.

When he failed to board his scheduled return flight on 7 April 1987, police enquiries revealed that he had last been seen by a local fisherman, around midday on Sunday, 5 April, near the Wreck Bar.

Although described as a loner, Graham was reportedly enjoying his time on the island swimming, sunbaking and having a round of golf. Since that day, he has not been seen, nor has he accessed any of his bank accounts.
