On 1 December 2022, Swiss national Peter Baggenstos set sail on his 13m yacht the Lady Lay from Bellerive TAS bound for New Zealand. 

On 5 December 2022, the Lady Lay’s AIS transponder stopped transmitting about 140km off Tasmania’s east coast in the Tasman Sea. 

Large scale searches in the Tasman Sea were subsequently conducted for Peter and the Lady Lay however neither were located.

There has been no trace of Peter since 5 December 2022 and serious concerns are held for his safety.

Jessica Zrinski, aged 30, was last seen in the Bossley Park area about 10pm on Sunday 27 November 2022.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command made wide-ranging inquiries at the time before Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad took carriage of the matter under Strike Force Keder.

Investigations revealed Jessica was in the carpark of a hotel on Mimosa Road at Greenfield Park about 10pm on Monday 28 November 2022, before leaving in a blue Holden Commodore station wagon about 10 minutes later.

That same vehicle is believed to have travelled west on the M4 motorway and Great Western Highway towards the Blue Mountains.

Despite extensive inquiries, Jessica has not been seen or heard from since.

On the evening of Thursday 10 November 2022, Cameron Gaykamangu was last seen walking towards the Milingimbi Airport on the airport road, Milingimbi Island, NT.  He spoke with a witness stating he was going to an outstation north of his location. However, Cameron was then seen walking south along a road towards the Telstra Tower in the opposite direction.  He has not been seen or heard from by family or friends since. Police hold concerns for his welfare.

Wylie Oscar was reported missing on 14 November 2022.

Wylie was last seen on 4 November 2022 at his home address in Junjuwa Community, Fitzroy Crossing, WA 6765.

Wylie left his address in a red 100 series Landcruiser. On 15 November 2022 the red Landcruiser was located on a station 18kms north west of Fitzroy Crossing, on land he was familiar with. Despite extensive searches Wylie has never been located and his family have not heard from him since.

Darko Prlenda has been missing since 3 November 2022

The last confirmed sighting of Darko was made by staff of the Red Bluff Tourist Park, Kalbarri, where Darko had been staying for the past week.

The Manager of the park spoke with Darko on site, just after 3pm that day.

A male matching Darko’s description was sighted by several witnesses at about 4pm on the same day, walking in a southerly direction along George Grey Drive, Kalbarri. This person was wearing dark clothing and carrying two large bags.

Clinton Kurt Lockyer was last seen on 31 October 2022, when he went missing after attending an appointment in Roebourne, WA, Australia.

Clinton left the appointment on foot and has not been seen since. It is out of character for Clinton not to be in regular contact with his family.
